Pygame Platformer Template

this can be used as a template for a platformer, but really any 2d side-view game.

to the side you can see a demonstration of what this template gives you (it's very barebones, don't mind the gif quality the game is 60FPS)

Make sure you have Pygame installed: go into CMD/Terminal, and type pip install pygame.

this .zip file comes with: 

-an asset file with a player, enemy, ground, background and gun sprite (all editable)

-a .py file that is fully editable and is annotated as to what each section does

- a READ ME file for professionalism

HOWEVER; I HIGHLY SUGGEST getting the pro zip file. It is £1 but comes with:

-A startup menu

-a new background asset

-improved upon player and enemy assets

-an enemy that spawns and you have to dodge

-a lot of other ease-of-use things
